Customer Review: Great Hawaii Guide for Adventurers
One of the problems that I have with most travel guides is that they are very big into where to eat, and many of the outdoor activities that I am most interested in are not covered in depth. This series of books is great for outdoor lovers.
Customer Review: Our Big Island personal superguide
We field tested this guide for 7 days and wished we could have stayed there longer. It showed us more than we would have seen in a month on our own. Getting the big picture was important to us even if it meant alot of driving and shorter hikes.
Following the highway milemarkers and referring to them in the guide’s text was very efficient. So many little roads on the Kona side that lead to perfect little beaches. The books’ organization was a big plus.
My boyfriend did the driving and I read aloud what was ahead. The snorkeling near Cook’s monument was phenomenal. Hikiing the crater trails awesome. We were informed and titillated and had alot of fun along the way.
