Thank you Trailblazers for introducing us to Kauai and Maui. We traveled on a shoestring, preferring to lead ourselves on hikes and got to see so much in very little time - five nights on each. The beaches you took us to on Maui were ideal for snorkeling. The wild ones on Kauai perfect for dipping into the warm inviting bluewater and providing an opportunity to spot turtles, whales and even a monk seal. We did it, definite raves for presentation and gobs of information.

Customer Review: The best guidebook in the universe
WHERE have the Trailblazer travel books been all of my life??? Seriously. I’ve travelled all over the world, and I read travel blogs on a daily basis, and I’ve never come across a more fun, versatile, informative, knowledgeable, accessible guide. It’s like the swiss army knife of travel guides. You’ll love the writing (hilarious), and the photographs are simply stunning (wish they sold them on their website). These people are LEGIT — they know what they’re talking about and they KNOW Kauai. If you’re an outdoor loving, adventure seeking, soulful explorer and traveller hoping to get to know Kauai this book is for you. There’s none of the artificial/commercial flavor that comes with the bigger travel guide companies — the Sprouts have a reverence for the history, culture, and nature of a place. They tell you about the coolest, most beautiful best kept secrets on the island, but they also encourage you to respect and help preserve these places. I wish they blogged. Seriously, you’ll LOVE it.
