Customer Review: Think you can’t do something? You can!
I will also state upfront that I know Monte, and he’s a great guy, though I’m not writing this for that reason. I’m writing it because it’s a fun, easy, inspirational read. And the fact that he’s a number cruncher by education and experience, not a word cruncher, makes it even more enjoyable! The writing is completely authentic, which is why you get the ups AND the downs.

More importantly, he did a couple of things most of us wouldn’t muster up the courage to do, even though many of us secretly want to - first, he left a promising career path in search of a better path for him; and second, he had a big, brilliant idea that he actually made happen. So this biking book is not really about biking, though serious cyclists will relate to it on an even deeper level I’m sure. I think anybody will enjoy reading it and benefit from reading it, even if they’ve never been on a bike in their life! And I think the readers who will get the most out of it are those in mid-life - career and age wise - who are starting to realize that life is getting shorter and wondering if there aren’t better roads to explore.
Customer Review: Pleasantly Surprised
The book was a gift, not a book I would have normally purchased for myself, as I am not a cyclist. I was pleasantly surprised and spellbound! Could not put it down! I was amazed with the diversity of the attitudes of people and places along the way, the hardships and blessings of the author. A story of courage and inspiration. A must read, cyclist or not!
